We are seeking a dedicated and skilled a driver to join our team at a manufacturing company in Nairobi Kenya. Driver at Q-Sourcing Limited
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transporting company staff as well as various products and materials to and from specified locations in a timely manner.
- Assisting with the loading and offloading of staff luggage, products, and materials.
- Adjusting travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction.
- Promptly informing the company of any tickets issued against the company vehicle during work hours.
- Ensuring that the company vehicle is always parked in areas that permit parking in order to avoid towing.
- Keeping the company vehicle clean and properly maintained by performing regular washing, cleaning and vehicle maintenance.
- Performing daily checks to ensure vehicle is always in sound condition
- Providing accurate time records of the company vehicle’s coming and goings.
- Reporting any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management.
- Ensuring that the vehicle have sufficient fuel and is always ready for use.
- Arranging for vehicle repairs when necessary
- Perform any other relevant duty that might be assigned from time to time
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Five years driving experience on 4X4 vehicles on challenging terrain
- Familiar with basic vehicle maintenance
- Experience driving senior managers
- At least O-level certificate
- Valid driving license
- Possession of a defensive driving certificate an added advantage
- Good planner
- Excellent oral and writing communication skills
- Preferably from Western Kenya
