About the Role:
As a Storyteller, you’ll bring ACAIF’s programs to life by creating short, captivating content across platforms. From TikTok videos to Twitter threads and blogs, you’ll tell relatable, human-centered stories that highlight the impact of cybersecurity, digital innovation, and entrepreneurship.
You’ll have the creative freedom to experiment, test bold ideas, and work with mobile-based tools to produce content on the go. The ideal candidate is curious, adaptable, and loves storytelling in its most creative and impactful form.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create short-form content: Produce engaging 30-second TikTok videos, Twitter threads, and short blogs showcasing ACAIF’s programs and their human impact.
- Capture real stories: Interview ACAIF’s fellows, SMEs, and program beneficiaries to uncover inspiring narratives and turn them into digital content.
- Mobile-first content production: Use tools like Canva, CapCut, and other mobile apps to quickly design and edit content for immediate posting.
- Experiment and innovate: Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, AI video editors) to streamline production and push creative boundaries.
- Adapt and multitask: Juggle multiple projects and collaborate with the team to deliver content that drives engagement across different platforms.
What We’re Looking For:
- Creative storyteller with a knack for crafting short, powerful narratives that captivate audiences.
- Knowledge of TikTok trends, Twitter strategies, and writing engaging blog posts.
- Strong ability to simplify technical topics (e.g., cybersecurity) and make them relatable and fun.
- Experience using on-the-go design tools like Canva, CapCut, or mobile video editors.
- Familiarity with AI tools for brainstorming, content creation, and video editing.
- Adaptable, upbeat, and self-driven you thrive in a dynamic, ever-changing environment.
