The Malkia Initiative is a community-based Orgainazition working in Kajiado County, Kenya. The Malkia Initiative was Founded in June 2015 and was legally registered in October 2016. Our core mission is to contribute towards enhancing equity in education by reducing barriers to transition and increasing engagement and well-being of Adolescent Girls and Youth. Our main focus is Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights as well as mentorship. In our almost 6 years of working in Kajiado County, we have reached over 5000 students in over 33 schools where we have our presence in.
