Country Manager at Freight In Time Group

Freight In Time seeks a dynamic and results-oriented Country Manager to lead our operations in Kenya.

The ideal Country Manager at Freight In Time Group will be a self-starter with a proven track record in the logistics industry, specifically in air cargo handling, warehousing, and financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive country strategy aligned with the company’s vision.
Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and expand market share.
Operational Excellence: Oversee all operational aspects, including air cargo handling, warehousing, and distribution.
Financial Management: Manage the P&L for the country, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-saving measures.
Team Leadership: Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and industry standards.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks to the business.
Reporting: Regularly report performance metrics, financial results, and operational updates.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. In the absence of a Degree, experience will be considered.
Proven track record in the logistics industry, with a focus on air cargo handling and warehousing.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong financial acumen, including P&L management.
Fluency in English.
