Network Technician at Metrics Management

Our client, a leading Internet Service Provider in Kiambu County, is seeking a skilled Network Technician at Metrics Management to join their team. If you have experience in fiber installation, possess excellent technical skills, and are customer-oriented, we invite you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation and Maintenance: Install internet services at client sites, including routers, modems, and fiber optic cables. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
Customer Support: Provide technical support, resolve connectivity issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Reporting: Document installations, service requests, and report recurring issues to the Technical Operations Manager.
Health and Safety: Adhere to safety guidelines during installations and maintenance.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest internet technologies and attend training programs.

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma or Certificate in Telecommunications, IT, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in internet service provisioning, especially in fiber installation.
Strong networking skills, including IP addressing, routing, and subnetting.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Must have a valid driving license and the ability to drive both a car and a motorbike (motorbike experience is an added advantage).
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
