To oversee the day-to-day operations of Cassava Kenya’s farming and harvesting activities in Kilifi County. Candidates must comply with proper reporting and guidelines set by th company. The Field Representative at Cassava Kenya will act as a liaison between farmers, and the operations department to ensure that agricultural activities are conducted as per the company expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Farm Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular farm visits to different farmers across Kilifi County.
• To establish and manage a rotary farm with multiple crops within a small acreage. · Planning and supervision of Cassava harvesting as per the company’s demand, ensuring quality and harvesting guidelines.
• Relationships with Cassava farmers ·Supervision of Cassava farms and nursey’s being developed.

Processing Responsibilities:

• Managing the production of Cassava bi products i.e snacks.
• Meeting daily production targets of specific snacks and foods we produce.
• Keeping records of products produced as per company guidelines.

Reporting responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on all farming activities on a daily basis. ·Understand company rules and guidelines.
