Successfully operating in Kenya with strong user and revenue growth, the Telesales Agent at Malaica promotes and sells products or services, answers customer queries, and maintains satisfaction over the phone.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound calls to prospective customers using provided leads or lists.
  • Engage with prospects in a friendly and professional manner to build rapport and establish trust.
  • Identify customer needs and tailor sales pitches to highlight the benefits and features of products or services offered.
  • Effectively communicate product or service information, pricing, and promotional offers to persuade prospects to make a purchase.
  • Overcome objections and address concerns raised by prospects to close sales opportunities.
  • Accurately record and update customer information, sales interactions, and transactions in the CRM system.
  • Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets set by the sales manager or team leader.
  • Collaborate with team members and sales managers to share best practices, strategies, and feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to better position products or services.
  • Adhere to company policies, sales scripts, and compliance regulations while conducting sales calls.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience in Telesales, Telemarketing, or a similar sales role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong persuasive and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to handle rejection and remain motivated.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and MS Office.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
