We are a Christian School in the education sector seeking a qualified, Special Needs Teacher. The Special Needs Teacher at Mirema School will create an inclusive, safe, and spiritually enriching environment that fosters the holistic development of each child.
Responsibilities
- Enhance learning environment for high learner performance
- Ensure efficient resource management
- Enhance Occupation/Health and Child Safety
- Provide valuable training sessions that turns students into stars
- Enhance effective communication with learner and parents/guardians
- Compliance with Ministry of Education and School Curriculum
- Effective records management (learners’ profile)
- Manage and maintain a high standard of learner discipline
- Ensure timely learner reports (rubrics, portfolios, anecdotal, and assessment)
Requirements
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant teaching experience as a Special Needs Teacher or an equivalent position in a reputable organization.
- Degree or Diploma in special needs
- TSC Number
- Proficiency in Computer Applications.
