Senior Accountant
The Senior Accountant will manage the organization’s general accounting functions to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with regulations. This role includes financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- BCOM, CPA-K/Finance/Accounts
- Registered with ICPAK
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
- High standards of integrity and ethics.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong confidentiality and good judgment.
- Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
- Ability to work independently and multitask effectively.
- Strong analytical and results-oriented mindset.
- Proactive with excellent people management skills.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities.
Key Competencies
- Supervision of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cashiers.
- Developing and implementing effective accounting strategies.
- Accurate tax planning, compliance, and alternative dispute resolution management.
- Inventory accounting, control management, and cost control.
- Timely preparation of financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual).
- Management of reconciliations for bank statements, accounts receivable and payables.
- Effective preparation of monthly cash flow projections and analysis.
- Establishing systems for cost sensitivity and early warning for cost overruns.
- Implementation of internal control mechanisms and financial process improvements.
- Participation in internal and external audits.
