The Embassy of Peru in Kenya is seeking to recruit a qualified and motivated individual for the position of Administrative Assistant under a fixed-term contract modality. Administrative Assistant at Embassy of Peru in Kenya

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, Public Administration, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative tasks such as accounting, recordkeeping, filing, and suppliers’ coordination.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage time effectively, identify and keep track of priorities, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written.
  • Previous experience in international organizations and/or diplomatic missions is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Spanish and/or Swahili is considered an advantage.
  • Applicants must have the legal right to work in Kenya at the time of application.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Administrator in planning and executing the Embassy’s budget.
  • Maintain records of monthly expenses, inventory, services, and other administrative activities.
  • Liaise with suppliers, service providers, and other stakeholders for coordination and follow-up.
  • Prepare reports based on information collected.
  • Provide support in the organization of official events and activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, in accordance with the needs of the Embassy.
